I’m Trevor, the sole owner, composer, and publisher behind this site. As a full-time professional music educator with over 25 years of experience and certification from The Royal Conservatory of Music, I’ve spent my career helping students and musicians of all levels discover the joy of music. My goal here is simple: to develop materials that support teachers’ needs and spark students’ curiosity.

Many of the resources here were developed in response to questions and interests from my students over the years—whether it was learning to self-publish, performing new repertoire, or understanding how sheet music is created and shared. Up-Tempo Publishing grew out of those teaching moments and continues to support students, teachers, and independent learners looking for thoughtful, practical music resources.
